Every year nearly 3,00 runners from all over world meet up for a legendary race: La Diagonale des Fous. A 164 km long and 9,917 m D+ course from the south to the north of Reunion Island.
For its 2018 edition, SFR Reunion and CROSSCALL, the leader in mobile outdoor technology, put their skills to use to offer the Grand Raid an innovative facility.
They broadcast to the participants more than 700 personal messages sent to them by friends and family on a screen installed at the most remote supply station on the course: right in the Cirque de Mafate; a place where, after so much effort, simply seeing a friend’s smile or a child’s face could make all the difference.
A bit of support that was as special as it was unexpected.
